
Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection
According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of March 12, in Ukraine, there have been officially confirmed 12,946 (649 children out of this number, 450 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection. The number of active cases makes up 195,677.
Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 38,237 people have been vaccinated, of whom 38,237 have received 1 dose, and 0 have completed vaccination (received 2 doses).
On March 11, 2021, 8,859 people were vaccinated against COVID-19, of which 8,859 persons were vaccinated with 1 dose, vaccination was completed (2 doses) - 0 people.
During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 3,843 persons, 230 patients died, 4,630 persons recovered. There have been conducted 100,718 testing (46,396 using the PCR method, 18,342 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 35,980).
During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:
- 1438468 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
- 1214876 people recovered;
- 27915 people died;
- 7282107 testing have been conducted.
