Olha Batova: We expect up to UAH 1 billion in budget revenues from privatization

After the adoption of all regulatory acts, the State Property Fund will be ready to announce auctions for objects already prepared for sale. First of all, we are talking about non-working bread factories, distilleries and real estate objects of interest for small and medium-sized businesses. Olha Batova, Acting Head of the State Property Fund, told about this in an interview.

The official has said that the Fund plans to attract ranging from UAH 600 million to UAH 1 billion from privatization this year. Meanwhile, according to her, the main task of privatization is business support in wartime, when hundreds of companies need platforms to resume work in safe regions.

"I can assure that this year as a result of privatization it is planned to attract more than UAH 600 million to the budget. We hope that we will manage to earn up to one billion to the budget, thanks to the increase in prices at electronic auctions," said Olha Batova.
