Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk and Minister of Veterans Affairs, Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons Oksana Koliada met with representatives of the Veterans Movement of Ukraine.

The topic for discussion was the consolidation of social groups as a focus of the activities of the two ministries – Ministry for Veterans Affairs and Ministry of Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons.

"The meeting turned out to be as frank and sincere as possible, and we have managed to prove the priority for the problems and needs of veterans and internally displaced persons for the Government", said Oleksiy Honcharuk.

At that, the Prime Minister acknowledged that the range of issues is rather deep and requires the necessary mechanisms to seek to resolve those.

"I must admit, the problem is deeper than we had anticipated at the beginning. But, I assure, we will find the necessary mechanisms. I will instruct the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs and the Ministry of Social Policy to promptly summon working meetings on those issues. I think we will find a solution. The main thing is we have an understanding of the positions!" said the Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk.
