Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk congratulated agricultural workers on their professional holiday.

The Head of Government placed an emphasis on the fact that agricultural sector was always a priority branch of economic development.

”An overriding task for the Government today is to carry out  much-needed land reform, in particular, to open a transparent agricultural land market. In order to allow Ukrainian farmers  be the master of their land, to enable them to determine whether to sell or lease land  and get market profits from it”, Oleksiy Honcharuk emphasized.

The Prime Minister stressed that land should be a resource for the development of regions and communities, and that every Ukrainian should have unhindered access to full information on natural resources and circulation of agricultural land.

Therefore, the reform of the State Geocadastre is already underway, and by August 1, 2020 it is necessary to complete inventory of all land, including state-owned agricultural land. Moreover, the creation of a modern digital model of the territory of Ukraine should be wound up by the end of 2020.
