Ukraine and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) plan to surpass last year's record in terms of investments in Ukraine, amounting to 1.1 billion euros. This was discussed during a meeting of Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk with the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Sir Suma Chakrabarti in Davos.
The Head of Ukrainian Government thanked the EBRD President for active support of major Ukrainian projects. "In overall, 2019 was a record year for EBRD’s investments in Ukraine. The final total was 1.1 billion euros. We have agreed that in 2020 we should work on surpassing our own record this year," Oleksiy Honcharuk noted.
EBRD President Sir Suma Chakrabarti positively assessed bilateral cooperation in 2019 and commended the success of the ongoing reforms in Ukraine as well as the achieved macroeconomic stability.
