During his business trip to Berlin, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of National Unity of Ukraine Oleksii Chernyshov and Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal took part in the VII Ukrainian-German Economic Forum, where they met with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

"Currently, more than one million Ukrainian citizens are internally displaced in Germany. We are grateful to the Government and people of Germany for their help and solidarity in this difficult time for our country. I am confident that we will have many joint projects in the future aimed at supporting social initiatives," said Oleksii Chernyshov.

In addition, he discussed with Wolfgang Schmidt, Head of the German Chancellor's Office, further cooperation steps and possible joint actions for the reintegration of Ukrainians temporarily residing in Germany.

Oleksii Chernyshov also met with representatives of the German Federal Ministry of the Interior and Community, the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.
