On August 29, the Minister for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine Oleksii Chernyshov started a working trip to the USA as the head of the Government delegation.

Key topics of the visit: support for fast recovery and preparation for the heating season in Ukraine.

"During the first meeting of the Government delegation with Alfonso García Mora, Vice President at the International Finance Corporation in Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, we discussed expanding cooperation with municipalities in the areas of energy efficiency, life support systems and integrated development of territories," Oleksii Chernyshov said.

Minister Oleksii Chernyshov noted that he was committed to productive dialogue, openness and transparency.

"With the IFC, we have a positive experience in the implementation of municipal projects. We have agreed on the expansion of IFC's presence in Ukraine and the implementation of projects together with municipalities, even under martial law," noted Oleksii Chernyshov.

It should be noted, on August 23, the Minister for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine Oleksii Chernyshov met with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belgium to Ukraine Peter Van De Velde.
