Nigeria, following Senegal, offered Ukraine to create a logistics hub to ensure steady supplies of grain and food. This was stated by Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solskyi following a meeting with Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Geoffrey Onyeama and Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Republic Mohammad Mahmoud Abubakar.

The meeting was held as part of a visit of a delegation of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine to Africa.

The parties discussed opportunities for cooperation and expansion of trade relations between the two countries, in particular, the creation of a logistics hub for regular supplies of grain and food.

“Ukraine is interested in implementation of such a logistics project and is ready to consider the details,” Mykola Solskyi emphasized.
