Since December 2022, Ukraine has received 36 cargoes of humanitarian aid from the Netherlands in the form of energy equipment with a total weight of 286.7 tonnes (including 12 cargoes weighing 103.6 tonnes in the last two weeks). The energy equipment will be used to restore Ukrainian energy sector facilities that continue to suffer damage as a result of targeted russian attacks.
“The provided equipment will help restore power supply to thousands of Ukrainians who are experiencing the consequences of russia’s barbaric attacks on our energy sector on a daily basis. We are grateful to the Netherlands for this support,” emphasized Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko.
The equipment provided by the Dutch side includes transformers, gas-insulated circuit breakers, grounding switches, disconnectors, surge arresters, electrical cables and grounding, overhead line fittings.
