On February 17, Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko together with Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte and Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation of the Netherlands Liesje Schreinemacher visited one of the Ukrainian thermal power plants that had suffered from russian missile attacks.

During the visit, the foreign guests got acquainted with the consequences of the destruction sustained by the energy facility, as well as the progress of ongoing restoration which is being carried out using equipment provided by the Dutch side.

“The Netherlands is helping us to repair the affected facilities to a great extent. We are sincerely grateful for the funds allocated through the World Bank and the EBRD, as well as 300 tonnes of power equipment and materials that were delivered to Ukrainian power engineers for the restoration work,” said German Galushchenko.
