NBU opened a multicurrency account for the Ministry of Social Policy to help Ukrainians affected by hostilities

The National Bank of Ukraine has opened a multicurrency account for the Ministry of Social Policy to help Ukrainians affected by the war.

The Ministry of Social Policy will direct the funds transferred on this account to support the citizens of Ukraine who suffer the most from the war:

- providing them with food and drinking water, clothing and footwear, hygiene products and basic necessities,

- provision with medicines and medical products,

- arrangement of accommodation for citizens who have left their place of residence in connection with hostilities,

- one-time financial assistance,

- meeting other priority needs of people.

This is a multi-currency account to which funds can be transferred by international partners and donors - in foreign currency (USD, EUR, GBR), Ukrainian business and citizens - in national currency.
