663,000 Ukrainians who have joined the National Cashback programme can already see their cashback in Diia. In total, they have been credited UAH 23.6 million. These are the main results of the third week of the programme's beta testing.
"Some partner banks have already set up transaction data transfer. This made it possible to calculate and display cashback for their customers' purchases in Diia for the period through September 2 - 22. This is a good reason to make new purchases of Ukrainian goods and see how quickly the cashback is displayed. For a number of banks, testing of the systems is still ongoing," said Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Economy of Ukraine.
As of 23 September, about 1.5 million Ukrainians have already joined the National Cashback programme. They have opened 1.65 million cards in banks. A total of 812,000 people have registered a card for payments in the Diia.
Over the past week, even more retailers have started to mark cashback products on their shelves. Price tags with the programme's logo or other markings are already available in retail chains.
Additionally, the app's website https://madeinukraine.gov.ua/ now offers a search for products and stores.
"Now you can check whether the stores where you shop participate in the programme and whether the products you plan to buy included in the programme. I would like to remind you that cashback is credited if you pay with a card in a store that has joined the programme and purchase a product that the manufacturer has submitted to the programme. I urge all participating chains to inform their guests that the National Cashback programme is available in their stores and to mark cashback products on the shelves. This will help promote Ukrainian goods among citizens," added Yuliia Svyrydenko.
In total, cashback has already been accrued for 203,000 Ukrainian goods from 1,137 Ukrainian manufacturers.
Cashback in the amount of 10% of the cost is accrued for the purchase of goods from Ukrainian producers included in the programme. Excisable goods (fuel, tobacco and spirits) are excluded. The cashback also applies to medicines made in Ukraine, wine without alcohol and honey drinks.
The maximum amount of payments is UAH 3,000 per month. The funds accumulated during the month will be transferred to the created card once a month until the 20th of the following month.
The funds received for participating in the National Cashback programme can be spent on services such as utilities, transport, medical treatment, mobile communications, sports, cinema, and others. They can also be donated to the Armed Forces of Ukraine or spent on purchasing military bonds.
It will be impossible to withdraw cash from the account where cashback funds are credited. Cashback funds accrued in 2024 can be used until 31 January 2025.
