Today, June 4, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade/ Trade Representative of Ukraine Natalia Mykolska is staying with a working trip to the United States of America. The main topic of the planned bilateral meetings is the removing by the U.S. of sanctions imposed on Ukrainian metallurgical products.

The Trade Representative of Ukraine shall meet with representatives of the U.S. Department of Commerce, the U.S. Department of State and the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative.

The Government and the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade pays significant attention to the ongoing dialogue between Ukraine and the U.S. on improving the conditions and enhancing the access of Ukrainian products, including steel products, to the U.S. market. After all, for the Ukrainian products the American market is traditional.

Exports of goods to the U.S. in the first quarter of 2018 amounted to $ 218.9 million and upped by $ 25.6 million. Over the past three years, metal products from Ukraine were exported to the tune of $ 119.6 million in 2015, $ 89.7 million in 2016, $ 175.6 million in 2017. The products include flat stock and rolled steel, pipes, semi-finished products.
