Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman announced during a meeting with regional media outlets.

The Prime Minister stressed that the efforts of Russia and its troops aimed to destabilize the situation and to violate the rules of international law is a direct evidence of the desire to occupy water area of the Sea of Azov and adjoining territories. Moreover, because of such actions the ports of Berdyansk and Mariupol are affected which depend directly on the normal passage through the Sea of Azov.

"Russia’s actions go beyond legal boundaries. For us, it's important to unlock an access to the Sea of Azov," Volodymyr Groysman stressed. "We insist on the introduction of tit-for-tat responses to Russia, and we thank our partners for their support."
