The National Joint-Stock Company Naftogaz Ukrainy has every opportunity today to pump up over 20 billion cubic meters of gas at an affordable price into Ukrainian storage facilities and to use that amount aftermath in the autumn-winter period so that not to raise the price for consumers. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said on air of the Ukrayina channel.
The PM reminded that for the third consecutive month, the price of gas is going down in Ukraine, as it is a global trend. And due to the Government's timely adopted decisions, the NJSC was forced to lower the price of gas for Ukrainian consumers and prolongs this trend.
"What is critical now – to ensure that they pump up 20 billion cubic meters at the current price, then there will not occur a need to increase the price for the next heating season. In August-September the price will be acceptable as well", explained Volodymyr Groysman.
