The Government will continue large-scale reconstruction and construction of roads next year. The development of road infrastructure remains one of key priorities in budget financing. It already yields results: in 2016, 900 kilometers of roads were repaired, in 2017 more than 2,100 kilometers of roads were repaired within one year. This year it is planned to repair up to 4,000 kilometers of roads.

In 2019 the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine will allocate UAH 55.1 billion for roads in 2019, which is UAH 7.4 billion more than in 2018. The state subvention for public and local roads will amount to UAH 17.6 billion or 35% of the State Road Fund.
