The Government has approved a decree "On the signing of the Grant Agreement for the Human Resources Development Scholarship Project between the Government of Ukraine and the Japan International Cooperation Agency".
The document provides for the establishment of cooperation between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of Japan within the framework of the scholarship project on human resources development from the Japanese Grant Aid (JDS), which, in turn, supports the development of human resources in Ukraine by enrolling civil servants as JDS scholars to Japanese universities to participate in the development and implementation of social and economic development plans.
A CMU resolution authorised the Head of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service, Nataliia Alushyna, to sign a Grant Agreement for the Human Resource Development Scholarship Project between the Government of Ukraine and the Japan International Cooperation Agency. In turn, the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service has been designated responsible for the implementation of the Grant Agreement.
It should be added that the JDS scholarship holders accepted under the project will acquire expert knowledge, conduct research and establish connections at universities in Japan. It is expected that the scholarship holders will use the knowledge gained and the results of their research in their permanent jobs to play an active role in solving practical problems of social and economic development.
