Customs visa-free regime in QI 2026: 46,300 transit declarations in the Common Transit System
The results of 'customs visa-free regime' in QI 2026 demonstrate steady growth in business activity and the effective use of the NCTS Common Transit system.
According to the State Customs Service, 46,300 transit declarations were processed during the first three months of the year. Of these, over 30,100 travels initiated in Ukraine were successfully completed in countries participating in the Convention on a Common Transit Procedure.
At the same time, Ukrainian customs authorities ensured the completion of another 16,200 travels initiated abroad.
The NCTS system continues to be actively used for domestic transit as well: nearly 9,000 T1 declarations were processed for travels within Ukraine.
March proved particularly productive—record figures were fixed since the introduction of the NCTS in Ukraine: 12,100 declarations processed for departure and 6,400 for destination in Ukraine.
In total, since Ukraine’s accession to the Convention on October 1, 2022, over 324,500 declarations have been processed.
Growing Business Confidence in Guarantee Instruments
In QI, 15 general guarantees totaling EUR 39 million were registered in the system. In addition, 5,821 individual guarantees with a total value of EUR 491 million were issued.
The State Customs Service continues to work on developing the transit system, expanding opportunities for businesses, and harmonizing procedures with European standards.
