Mykola Solskyi, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, is on a working visit to Berlin. He will take part in the 16th Global Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA) and the 16th Berlin Agriculture Ministers’ Conference.
Mykola Solskyi took part in the opening ceremony of the Forum and, together with German Federal Minister of Food and Agriculture Cem Özdemir, attended the official opening of the International Green Week 2024 Trade Fair.
Also on the sidelines of the Forum, the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine met with the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Bulgaria Kiril Vatev and the Federal Minister of Food and Agriculture Cem Özdemir.
During the meetings, the parties discussed support for the Ukrainian agricultural sector, the continuation of the free trade regime with the EU, the results of the Black Sea corridor and the export of agricultural products across the western borders.

The 16th Global Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA) takes place on 17-20 January in Berlin. This year's theme is Food Systems for Our Future: Joining Forces for a Zero Hunger World and aims to intensify and reinvigorate the international dialogue on agricultural policy.
The Global Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA) is an international conference dedicated to key issues of vital global agricultural and food policy. The event is held annually alongside the International Green Week (IGW).
GFFA is organised by the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture.
The Forum includes a large number of events that provide an opportunity for an international audience to discuss and reach consensus on issues and challenges related to global agricultural policy and food security.
