Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solskyi held an online working meeting with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Republic of Poland Henryk Kowalczyk.

The dialogue focused on the issues of reducing the queues of grain trucks on the Polish-Ukrainian border, construction of a cross-border vegetable oil pipeline from Ukraine to Poland, as well as Poland’s participation in the Grain from Ukraine humanitarian initiative.

Particularly, the Ukrainian and Polish parties will consider the possibility of revising the control mechanisms for vehicles with grain that transit through the territory of Poland to third countries.

Speaking of the pipeline for the export of vegetable oil, Henryk Kowalczyk confirmed the active work on implementation of this project. In the near future, a series of Ukrainian-Polish meetings will be scheduled to discuss technical details of the project and planning of works for the next year.
