First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko discussed with representatives of the Ukrainian business community the most pressing economic issues of concern. During the meeting with the members of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI), the discussion focused on grant funding, business loans, assistance for exporters with VAT refunds, overstatement of the customs value of goods, restrictions on currency transfers abroad, reservation of employees, and many other issues that have become relevant during the war.

“At every meeting with the business community, I never get tired of thanking all the entrepreneurs who did not stop working and paying taxes during the war. It is your taxes that finance the Armed Forces of Ukraine, because we cannot use international financial assistance for these purposes. At such meetings, we want to understand the systemic problems of business and give impetus to their solution. If last year our task was to survive the war, this year we need to move towards small but sustainable economic growth,” said Yuliia Svyrydenko.
