The IMF and Ukraine have reached a staff-level agreement to complete the first review of the IMF Stand-by Arrangement

The first review of the Stand-by Program will enable disbursement of a tranche totaling about USD 700 million to Ukraine.

"We are pleased to reach a staff-level agreement with the IMF to complete the first review of the Stand-by Arrangement. We worked hard to achieve a positive result. The IMF is a key partner of Ukraine in carrying out reforms and ensuring the macroeconomic stability of the country. We expect that the IMF Board's decision on the first review and the extension of the Program will be considered in November", said the Minister of Finance of Ukraine Sergii Marchenko.
