International partners will continue to support the Ukrainian medical system

International partners provide strong support to the health care system by sending humanitarian aid to Ukrainian medical institutions. This was announced by Health Minister Viktor Liashko during a meeting with the American nonprofit organization HOPE worldwide.

In addition to rendering humanitarian assistance, the charity is ready to join in providing psychological aid to Ukrainian citizens affected by the war.

"Over the past three months, Ukraine has felt strong support from the world. Thanks to numerous international assistance, our medical institutions are provided with the necessary medicines and medical devices. We are grateful to our American partners, who today stand side by side with Ukraine and provide a significant amount of assistance. We hope that in the future our cooperation will only be strengthened," said Minister of Health Viktor Liashko.

Also in Ukraine now there is a need for so-called "mobile clinics", which will be used in the occupied territories, where the enemy has caused significant damage to medical infrastructure. Therefore, they discussed with American partners, in particular, the possibility of supplying such clinics to the territory of Ukraine, so that the population in the occupied regions was fully provided with the necessary medical services.

It should be noted that the day before, Ukraine received 13 tons of humanitarian aid, which was sent by the American HOPE worldwide organization. The humanitarian cargo included numerous remedies for the treatment of injuries, medicines against infectious diseases, antihypertensive drugs, etc.

In total, since the full-scale russian invasion, the Ministry of Health has collected more than 6,500 tons of medical aid.
