Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity becomes the key coordinator of the reorganization of the Ministry of National Unity
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted a decree to establish a special commission to reorganize the Ministry of National Unity of Ukraine. The initiative is part of the process of reorganizing functions within the renewed Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine.
The special commission will be headed by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity Natalia Neniuchenko. She will be responsible for coordinating the entire process - from forming the commission to preparing the final report for the Government.
Service providers, contractors, institutions, as well as other authorities or funds that have financial claims against the Ministry may submit relevant applications within two months.
The term of the reorganization is set within five months from the date of entry into force of the relevant order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. All activities related to the reorganization will be financed within the allocations provided for in the State Budget for 2025.
The decision on the merger was made on July 21, 2025 as part of the government reform. The reform is being implemented to improve the effectiveness of social support for citizens, strengthen institutional capacity to protect families and ensure national unity both in Ukraine and abroad.
Shortly, the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine shall present an updated organizational structure and priority areas of activity in a renewed format.
