  • Ministry of Social Policy prolongs cooperation to involve international organizations in support for vulnerable categories of the population

    On July 19, 2022, Yevhen Kotyk, the First Deputy Minister of Social Policy, and Anna Duda, director of the branch of the company People in Need in Ukraine, signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine and the branch of the company People in Need in Ukraine.

    In order to ensure the implementation of the Memorandum, the parties will join forces to:

    • provide humanitarian aid to those who need it;

    • ensure the effective implementation and protection of the fundamental rights of persons affected by the aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine;

    • overcome other crisis situations, which primarily concern the most vulnerable categories of the population;

    • ensure proper observance of norms of humanitarian law.

    Within the framework of the Memorandum, cooperation is envisaged for the implementation of joint projects and programs aimed at supporting the most vulnerable categories of the population in accordance with the principles of humanity, impartiality, neutrality and independence.
