Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity: Over 50,000 applications for a one-time payment of UAH 6,500 approved

On November 21, a program was launched to provide a one-time payment of UAH 6,500 to the most vulnerable segments of the population.

As of December 2, some 293,941 applications for state assistance had been submitted: 292,862 applications were received through the Diia app, and 1,112 were submitted through the Pension Fund of Ukraine.

So far, 51,931 applications have been approved.

Applications for additional support can be submitted until December 17 if you fall into one of the following categories:

• children under 18 in low-income families;
• children from internally displaced persons who are recipients of housing assistance for internally displaced persons;
• children under guardianship or care;
• children with disabilities who are in family-type children's homes and foster families;
• persons with disabilities of group I who are recipients of housing assistance for internally displaced persons;
• single pensioners with a pension of up to UAH 9,444 who receive a care allowance.

The funds can be spent within six months of being credited. The assistance is provided for the purchase of warm clothing, medicines, and vitamins.

This year, it is planned that more than 660,000 citizens will receive a one-time payment. UAH 4.3 billion has been allocated in the budget for these payments.
