Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Maryna Lazebna said that within the framework of the memorandum with the International Organization RedRose CPS transferred the first register of applications for obtaining benefits submitted through the social platform eDopomoha (eAssistance).
"The Ministry of Social Policy, together with RedRose CPS, is implementing a pilot project on financial support for vulnerable categories of pensioners-internally displaced persons with disabilities, in the framework of which 40,000 applications regarding 48,270 people were submitted. All applications have been successfully verified, and these categories have been confirmed. The amount of assistance will be UAH 2,000 per person during 3 consecutive months," said the Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine.
Marina Lazebna also stressed that the Ministry of Social Policy continues to make every effort to increase the number of international organizations that can provide financial assistance to Ukrainians affected by the war.
It should be noted that the social platform eDopomoha provides an opportunity to submit an application for financial support from international organizations. The Ministry of Social Policy verifies the applicant's data using the available state information registers and databases, which allows obtaining verified personal information.
Decisions on the provision of assistance to the relevant category of the population and the amount of payments are made by international organizations.
Priority is given to vulnerable groups, including people with disabilities, retirees, single parents raising children, and low-income families.
