Ministry for Communities and Territories Development discusses cooperation with French companies in the field of Ukraine's reconstruction
The Ministry for Communities and Territories Development had a meeting to discuss cooperation with French companies in the field of Ukraine's reconstruction. The parties agreed to expand the participation of French companies in projects to restore critical and social infrastructure, as well as to deepen cooperation in the field of digitalization of public investment management.
The meeting took place at the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine with the participation of the Agency for Restoration, the French Embassy in Ukraine, Business France, and French companies operating in the fields of energy, infrastructure, water supply, environment, and construction.
The French side presented companies interested in participating in Ukraine's reconstruction projects. Meanwhile, representatives of a number of French companies showcased their solutions in the fields of energy efficiency, sustainable construction and innovation, water supply and treatment, road technologies, geodesy, and digitalization.
"French businesses are showing not only interest but also a genuine willingness to participate in Ukraine's reconstruction. We already have a history of fruitful cooperation and mutual trust, and today's meeting opens up new opportunities for joint projects. It is important that we are looking in the same direction — sustainable development, innovation, and transparent investment management," said Deputy Minister for Communities and Territories Development Yevhen Dubogryz.
The teams from the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development and the Agency for Restoration presented urgent recovery needs and the DREAM platform, a digital public investment management system module that ensures transparency and accountability at all stages of project implementation.
The Unified Project Portfolio for 2026 (UPP-2026) was also presented, covering 149 projects and programs, including 83 projects - in the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development's core sectors: housing, transport, municipal infrastructure, and services.
