  • Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories: 47,000 IDPs employed with the support of the State Employment Service

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the State Employment Service has been actively supporting the employment of IDPs. This includes job searches, career counselling, education vouchers, microgrants for business start-up and compensation to employers for hiring this category of citizens.

According to the State Employment Service, since March last year, 93,000 IDPs have received employment support services, of whom 47,000 have found jobs and more than 2,000 have received vocational training. So far, 6,000 IDPs have received vouchers for education and training.

The State Employment Service is also helping IDPs to start and develop a business. To date, positive decisions have been made on 6,000 microgrants totalling UAH 1.2 billion. These funds have helped to create more than 3,000 jobs. In addition, compensation payments to employers have helped to employ 24,000 internally displaced persons.

The State Employment Service and the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories are working closely together to assist IDPs seeking employment.
