The Ministry for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories continues to pay state scholarships named after Levko Lukyanenko. In September, 9 Ukrainian citizens received such payments.

The scholarship is awarded by Presidential Decree to Ukrainian citizens illegally detained by the russian federation or the occupation administration of the russian federation in connection with their public or political activities.

Payments are made during the period of illegal detention and for one year after release.
