  • Ministry for Reintegration for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories continues state aid payments to those released from captivity and families of prisoners

    Another 512 people released from russian captivity and 654 families of people currently illegally detained by russia will each receive UAH 100,000 in state aid.

    The Ministry for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories will transfer the funds to these categories after receiving their applications and necessary documents.

    It should be noted that the facts of deprivation of liberty of these citizens as a result of the armed aggression against Ukraine were established by the relevant Commission under the Ministry for Reintegration for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories on 28 July.

    The Commission also decided to pay funds to reimburse the costs of professional legal assistance to 2 persons.

    In addition, the Commission recognised 78 people who had submitted applications and supporting documents as family members of prisoners of war.

    As a reminder, the Commission was established pursuant to the Law of Ukraine "On Social and Legal Protection of Persons in Respect of Whom the Deprivation of Personal Liberty as a Result of Armed Aggression against Ukraine and Members of Their Families".

    The Commission is composed of representatives of the Ministry for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories and representatives of other state authorities and public associations.
