Ministry for Reintegration of Temporary Occupied Territories transferred funds for payments to Ukrainians released from and those still in captivity

The Ministry for Reintegration of Temporary Occupied Territories of Ukraine has transferred UAH 1.5 million to the families of illegally imprisoned by russian Ukrainian citizens. Another sum worth UAH 6.7 million was directed to Ukrainians who have been released from russian captivity.

In particular, 15 families of political prisoners of the rf received payments for legal aid in the amount of UAH 100,000. Also, 67 former prisoners, who were recognized by the Interdepartmental Commission as having been deprived of their freedom as a result of russia's armed aggression against Ukraine, received one-time monetary assistance of UAH 100,000.

The aforesaid assistance will also be provided to other Ukrainian citizens who have been released from captivity, and to relatives of those illegally detained in the russian federation.

It should be noted that the Ministry for Reintegration of Temporary Occupied Territories has resumed the work of the Interdepartmental Commission on consideration of issues related to the recognition of persons as such who were deprived of their freedom as a result of armed aggression against Ukraine, and the implementation of measures aimed at their social protection.
