Ministry of Youth and Sports: Ukrainian sports community appreciates support of European Parliament

During the EU Sports Forum in Stockholm, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine for European Integration Andriy Chesnokov met with MEP, Co-Chair of the European Parliament’s Sports Group Tomasz Frankowski.

On behalf of Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine Vadym Huttsait, the Ukrainian representative thanked the European Parliament and its Sports Group for their continued support of Ukraine and for the joint approach to the impossibility of the return of russian and belarusian athletes to international sports arenas until the end of russia’s armed aggression against our country.

The parties outlined further possible steps, taking into account the recent decisions of the IOC, as well as measures to support representatives of the Ukrainian sports community in the EU and Ukraine.
