Finance Minister Sergii Marchenko attends launch of Tax Consultant Offices network by State Tax Service

A new State Tax Service initiative for businesses and citizens, the Tax Consultant Offices network, began operations on 8 September 2025 in regional centres across Ukraine and Kyiv.

Twenty offices nationwide were connected via a Zoom teleconference, enabling interactive participation from business representatives and citizens in various regions.

The opening of the main office in Kyiv at 4 Mykoly Lieskova Street was attended by Minister of Finance Sergii Marchenko, Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture Oleksii Sobolev, Acting Head of the State Tax Service Lesia Karnaukh, Business Ombudsman Roman Vashchuk, Chairman of the Board of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine Dmytro Oliinyk, and members of parliament.

The Finance Minister highlighted that the launch of the offices marks a new phase in state-business communication. The initiative aims to prevent issues rather than merely resolve them, transforming tax interactions into a partnership. The new service will assist entrepreneurs and citizens with complex issues, ensure procedural transparency, and support economic resilience amid wartime challenges.

The offices are designed to provide taxpayers with high-quality, timely, and free consultations on tax legislation and other areas under the State Tax Service’s oversight. Consultations will be prompt and personalised, with specialists analysing individual cases and assisting with tax obligation planning.

Tax Consultant Offices offer free consultations on all major taxation areas, including tax disputes, audits, electronic services, provision of electronic trust services, and debt repayment assistance. Each office is staffed with at least six specialists.

The success of this initiative directly contributes to strengthening the economy, encouraging voluntary tax compliance, and filling the budget to support the country’s defence.
