First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko met with Turkish companies members of the Turkish-Ukrainian Business Council under the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey. The event, which was attended by leaders of more than 20 companies from various sectors of the economy, was dedicated to the discussion of the resumption of business activities in Ukraine.
"Since the first days of the war, we have been meeting with systemically important companies on daily basis and helping them to resume business activities. Now we have managed to talk about it with foreign companies doing business in Ukraine. It is crucial because only a strong economy can withstand this full-scale war of Russia," Yulia Svyrydenko said.
During the meeting, there were raised issues acute for Turkish companies - the speedy restoration of trade routes between Ukraine and Turkey, operational issues of work in Ukraine through military action and compensation for losses caused by the actions of the russian federation. With regard to all these positions, the Ministry of Economy is looking for concrete practical steps to solve the problems and restore the work of the maximum number of enterprises in Ukraine.
