  • Ministry of Finance: 11,623 preferential loans worth UAH 46.89 billion were issued during the period of martial law within the State Program Affordable Loans at 5-7-9%

    Over the past week, 86 preferential loans for the total amount of UAH 638.3 million were issued within the framework of the State Program Affordable Loans at 5-7-9%, including 70 credit agreements for the amount of UAH 244.1 million concluded by public sector banks.

    Since the start of the Program, as of August 22, 2022, business entities have received 46,445 loans from authorized banks for a total amount of UAH 136.51 billion, of which 29,777 are from public sector banks for a total amount of UAH 53.49 billion.

    During the period of martial law in Ukraine, within the framework of the state program Affordable Loans at 5-7-9%, 11,623 credit agreements were concluded for a total amount of UAH 46.89 billion (including public sector banks - 9,301 credit agreements for the amount of 26, UAH 84 billion), of which:

    - UAH 920.40 million – for investment purposes;

    - UAH 4,327.36 million – as anti-crisis loans;

    - UAH 4,010.02 million – as refinancing of previously received loans;

    - UAH 19,413.81 million – loans for agricultural producers;

    - UAH 18,199.82 million – for anti-war purposes.

    The program is implemented by the Entrepreneurship Development Fund (EDF). The only participant of the EDF is the Government of Ukraine represented by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, which coordinates all aspects of the Fund's activities.

    To date, under the State Program Affordable Loans at 5-7-9%, the EDF has concluded cooperation agreements with 42 banks.
