  • Ministry of Finance: 10,945 soft loans to the tune of UAH 41.89 billion were issued during the period of martial law within the State Program Affordable Loans at 5-7-9%

    Over the past week, 122 preferential loans for the total amount of UAH 1.07 billion were issued within the framework of the State Program Affordable Loans at 5-7-9%, including 79 credit agreements for the amount of UAH 0.45 billion concluded by banks of the state sector of the economy.

    Since the start of the Program, as of July 25, 2022, business entities have received 45,767 loans from authorized banks for a total amount of UAH 131.51 billion, of which 29,268 were from banks of the public sector of the economy for a total amount of UAH 50.72 billion.

    During the period of martial law in Ukraine, 10,945 credit agreements for a total amount of UAH 41.89 billion were concluded within the framework of the Program, including 8,792 credit agreements for the amount of UAH 24.07 billion by public sector banks, of which:

    - UAH 0.66 billion – for investment purposes;

    - UAH 3.96 billion – as anti-crisis loans;

    - UAH 3.36 billion – as refinancing of previously received loans;

    - UAH 19.41 billion – loans for agricultural producers;

    - UAH 14.48 billion – for anti-war purposes.

    The program is implemented by the Entrepreneurship Development Fund (EDF). The only participant of the EDF is the Government of Ukraine represented by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, which coordinates all aspects of the Fund's activities.

    To date, under the State Program Affordable Loans at 5-7-9%, the EDF has concluded cooperation agreements with 42 banks.
