
Ministry of Finance: 10,854 soft loans worth UAH 39.68 billion were issued during the period of martial law within the State Program "Affordable Loans at 5-7-9%"
Over the past week, 499 preferential loans for a total amount of UAH 0.99 billion were issued within the framework of the State Program "Affordable Loans at 5-7-9%", including 189 credit agreements for the amount of UAH 0.52 billion concluded by banks of the state sector of the economy.
Since the start of the Program, as of July 11, 2022, business entities have received 45,676 loans from authorized banks for a total amount of UAH 129.30 billion, of which 29,009 were from state economy sector banks for a total amount of UAH 49.58 billion.
During the period of martial law in Ukraine, 10,854 loan agreements totaling UAH 39.68 billion were concluded within the framework of the Program, including 8,533 credit agreements worth UAH 21.94 billion by public sector banks, of which:
- UAH 0.51 billion – for investment purposes;
- UAH 3.74 billion – as anti-crisis loans;
- UAH 3.09 billion – as refinancing of previously received loans;
- UAH 19.31 billion – loans for agricultural producers;
- UAH 13.0 billion – for anti-war purposes.
The program is implemented by the Entrepreneurship Development Fund (EDF). The only participant of the EDF is the Government of Ukraine represented by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, which coordinates all aspects of the Fund's activities.
To date, under the State Program "Affordable Loans at 5-7-9%", the EDF has concluded cooperation agreements with 42 banks.
