  • Ministry of Finance: UAH 338.5 billion has been allocated for social payments from the state budget since the start of the year

    During the period from January to October 2022, UAH 338.5 billion was allocated for social payments from the state budget, including UAH 34.3 billion in October.

    These funds were allocated as follows:

    - UAH 52.3 billion for the payment of state social benefits, in particular to families with children, including UAH 5.5 billion in October;

    - UAH 41.6 billion to provide housing assistance to internally displaced persons, including UAH 5.8 billion in October;

    - UAH 25.6 billion to provide benefits and subsidies to citizens for housing and communal services, including UAH 0.9 billion in October;

    - UAH 188.1 billion to the Pension Fund for the payment of pensions, additional payments and increases to pensions, including UAH 22.1 billion in October;

    - UAH 30.9 billion for ePidtrymka, which ensured that all recipients who applied for such assistance received it in full.

    "Nowadays, one of the main tasks is the social protection of citizens, the continuation of payment of salaries and pensions, providing people with support from the state. And the Government is doing everything possible to ensure that in the conditions of martial law, our citizens receive their due payments, housing subsidies and pensions on time. This is how Ukrainians feel the support of the state and understand that they are not left alone with their problems", Deputy Minister of Finance Roman Yermolychev commented.
