At the regular meeting of the Government, the decree "On conducting in 2021 evaluation of state budget expenditures in different spheres" was adopted. The expenditures reviews provide for evaluation of the mechanism of implementation of state policy in the relevant spheres and are a tool for improving the effectiveness of the state budget programs.

With this decision, the Cabinet of Ministers ensures the completion of reviews of the state budget expenditures, launched in 2019 and 2020, and identifies two new areas.

Namely, the decree establishes:

• The unified deadline for submitting reports to the Government - 1 December 2021;
• The deadline for establishing working groups to conduct cost reviews - 3 days from the day of entry into force of the decree;
• The deadline for notification about the status of inspections - up to the 5th day of the month;
• Requirements for the acceptance of reports on the expenditures reviews and their presentation at the meeting of the Government.
