Ministry of Finance: Government moves up deadline for submitting 2026 state budget spending review reports to 1 November

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted a resolution "On Amending Paragraph 3 of Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 463 of 20 May 2026," developed by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine. The decision is aimed at ensuring the timely fulfilment of Ukraine's international commitments in the area of European integration.

Under the resolution, chief spending units of the state budget must submit their spending review reports to the Cabinet of Ministers by 1 November 2026 (the previous deadline had been set at 1 December).

This will accelerate the spending reviews across 22 areas of activity managed by 14 chief spending units, ensuring they are completed on time. This, in turn, will allow Ukraine to meet its international commitments under Step 2.4 of Ukraine's Plan (Q4 2026) and the Public Administration Reform Roadmap (Q4 2026).
