On December 20, Ukraine received a EUR 200 million loan from the Netherlands through the Administered Account of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
“The Netherlands continues to provide Ukraine with both military and financial assistance. We are grateful to the leadership and people of the Netherlands for supporting our country,” said Minister of Finance of Ukraine Serhii Marchenko.
The loan is provided on concessional terms, in particular:
- interest is accrued on the loan amount at an annual interest rate equal to the IMF basic rate of charge (the rate was fixed at 3.641% per annum);
- the final repayment of the loan is carried out 10 years from the date of loan drawdown (taking into account the grace period of deferment of loan repayment for a period of 4.5 years from the date of loan drawdown).
The loan funds are intended for financing expenditures of the general fund of the State Budget.
