As part of the support for micro, small and medium-sized businesses in Ukraine, 40,240 loans totalling UAH 128.5 billion have been issued since December 2020, when the instrument of state guarantees on a portfolio basis was launched.
As of 1 October 2024, 31 lending banks were servicing 20,697 loans worth UAH 71.5 billion. The principal liabilities partially covered by state guarantees on a portfolio basis amounted to UAH 32.2 billion. This is about 62% of the total limit of guarantees provided (UAH 51.7 billion).
In September, 814 loan agreements worth UAH 2.9 billion were concluded, with the share of principal obligations guaranteed by the state amounting to UAH 1.6 billion.
