As part of the support for micro, small and medium-sized businesses in Ukraine, 39,419 loans totalling UAH 125.6 billion have been issued since December 2020, when the portfolio-based state guarantee instrument was launched.
As of 1 September 2024, 30 lending banks were servicing 20,207 loans worth UAH 69.6 billion. Principal liabilities partially covered by state guarantees on a portfolio basis amounted to UAH 31.3 billion. This is about 61% of the total limit of guarantees provided (UAH 51.7 billion).
In August, 651 loan agreements worth UAH 2.1 billion were concluded, with the share of principal obligations guaranteed by the state amounting to UAH 1.1 billion.
Since the beginning of martial law on 24 February 2022, 34,269 loan agreements have been concluded for a total of UAH 115.2 billion.
