As part of the support of micro, small and medium-sized businesses in Ukraine, since the beginning of the use of the instrument of state guarantees on a portfolio basis since December 2020, 17,614 loans have been issued for a total amount of UAH 57.46 billion.
As of December 1, 2022, 27 lending banks service 15,611 loans worth UAH 50.24 billion. Obligations on the principal debt, which is partially secured by state guarantees on a portfolio basis, amounted to UAH 28.55 billion. This is about 82% of the total limit of guarantees provided (UAH 35.014 billion).
At the same time, in November this year, 936 loan agreements worth UAH 3.24 billion were concluded, with the share of obligations on the principal debt guaranteed by the state amounting to UAH 1.6 billion.
By the number of loans serviced as of December 1 of the current year under state guarantees on a portfolio basis, JSC CB "Privatbank" is the leader - currently 10,863 loans for a total amount of UAH 16.83 billion are being serviced, which is 94% of the limit of such guarantees granted to this bank. The second by the number of such loans is JSC "Oschadbank" - 1,979 loans for a total amount of UAH 7.93 billion (respectively - 89% of the bank's limit).
The largest volume of loans is serviced in Dnipropetrovsk region - 1,384 loans for UAH 3.3 billion, in Odesa region - 1,100 such loans for UAH 3.77 billion, in Kirovohrad region - 767 loans for UAH 3.23 billion and in Kyiv - 857 loans for UAH 3.41 billion.
By type of economic activity, most loans partially secured by state guarantees on a portfolio basis are serviced in the following areas
- agriculture - 6,969 loans for UAH 33.48 billion
- wholesale and retail trade, vehicle repair - 5,287 loans for UAH 8.71 billion
- processing industry - 1,318 loans for UAH 4.94 billion.
