In February, Ministry of Finance ensured UAH 12.8 billion of transfers from the state budget to local budgets

In February 2025, the Ministry of Finance transferred inter-budget transfers to local budgets in the amount of UAH 12.8 billion, which is 84.8% of the allocations for February, in accordance with the budget legislation:
- the basic subsidy was transferred in the amount of UAH 2.1 billion (100% of the allocation plan);
- additional subsidies were transferred in the amount of UAH 1.7 billion (63.0% of the allocation plan).
As of 1 March 2025, the balances on the accounts of local budgets and budgetary institutions for the general and special funds amounted to UAH 143.7 billion, which is UAH 23.1 billion more than at the beginning of 2025.
With these resources, local governments will continue to provide funding for priority needs at the local level.
