Ministry of Finance: Local budgets to receive UAH 1.4 billion of additional subsidies for QII 2025

Today, on August 13, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved* the distribution of additional subsidies to local budgets in the de-occupied and war-affected territories for QII 2025, in the amount of over UAH 1.4 billion, in particular:

- UAH 394.9 million - for the regional budget of Donetsk region and 90 territorial communities (compensation for personal income tax losses);

- UAH 441.9 million - for 113 territorial communities (compensation for losses from real estate tax, land payment and single tax);

- UAH 149.6 million - for 77 territorial communities (compensation for losses for December 2024);

- UAH 3 million - for the budget of the Kalchytska rural territorial community (martial law measures, social protection of IDPs);

- UAH 435 million for the regional budget of Chernihiv region and 25 territorial communities (priority expenditures, including salaries and utilities).

The additional subsidy is aimed at supporting the local budgets of the de-occupied, frontline and other territories that have been negatively affected by russia's full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine.

The budget program for 2025 provides for an additional subsidy from the state budget to local budgets of the affected territories in the amount of more than UAH 36.5 billion, which is distributed on a quarterly basis.
