The United States of America will increase assistance to Ukraine in restoring damaged energy system facilities in response to another terrorist attack by russia on civilian energy infrastructure.

This is stated in a special statement by U.S. President Joe Biden published on the White House website. In particular, the United States pledges to increase the supply of energy equipment to repair energy facilities and improve the resilience of the energy system.

“We are grateful to the United States for the help and support they provide to protect Ukraine’s energy system and restore it. The U.S. support is important for the fastest possible restoration of the facilities destroyed by russia and ensuring a stable electricity supply for consumers. Our power engineers are doing everything possible to stabilise the situation as soon as possible and avoid power cuts for consumers,” said Minister of Energy German Galushchenko.
