Ministry of Energy: Iceland contributed an additional EUR 550,000 to Ukraine Energy Support Fund

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iceland has made an additional contribution of EUR 550,000 to Ukraine Energy Support Fund. With this, Iceland’s total contribution has reached nearly EUR 9 million.

These funds will help purchase the necessary energy equipment to prepare Ukraine for the autumn-winter period.

Overall, since the establishment of Ukraine Energy Support Fund, it has received more than EUR 2 billion in grant funding from 39 foreign sponsors across 26 partner countries and 3 international organizations.

Ukraine expresses gratitude to Iceland and all partners who continue to support its energy sector.
