Ministry of Economy: Last week, businesses received UAH 1.2 billion in affordable loans

Over the past week, banks issued UAH 1.2 billion of affordable loans to entrepreneurs. Since the beginning of the "5-7-9 Affordable Loans" program, businesses have received 46,400 loans for a total amount of UAH 135.9 billion.

Entrepreneurs took the most anti-crisis loans - UAH 59.6 billion, and UAH 28.3 billion – resource for refinancing previously received loans. In addition, 16.5 billion UAH were issued for anti-war purposes, UAH 10.8 billion - for investment purposes. Agricultural companies received UAH 19.7 billion in loans to support their activities, trading companies received UAH 972.6 million in loans to replenish working capital.

Enterprises operating in the field of agriculture (52%), trade and production (24%), and industrial processing (14%) are most often credited under the program. Among the regions, Lviv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Kyiv, Vinnytsia regions and the city of Kyiv are the leaders in terms of the sums of concluded credit agreements.

To date, 42 banks participate in the program, the largest number of loans were issued by Privatbank (19,400), Oschadbank (6,400) and Raiffeisen Bank Aval (4,100).

As a reminder the program Affordable loans at 5-7-9% allows entrepreneurs to attract up to UAH 60 million at 0% for the period of wartime +1 month. Credit funds in the amount of up to UAH 1 billion at 5% per annum are available for retail trade chains, which enables them to pay suppliers on time and replenish their financial balance.
